If this is CRMZ, they've been calling me for the past couple of months and gave me a temporary sign on to look around. It seems like a good tool but for the cost and the fact they don't seem to have much information on the smaller companies, it is not something we can use.
We use CRM, but again only for the largest companies. A past employer of mine used CRM religiously, especially the "Z" Score, to try to catch potential business failures. I looked into CRM for a later employer, but it's really best for customers which are both large and publicly held, and for international firms. It is pricey, too, but if that's the sort of information you need in order to feel comfortable extending credit, it is a good buy, IMHO.

Do you know which countries CRM covers?
Thank you

Isn't CRM for publicly traded companies only?
Thanks

CRM covers international companies. Some of the credit analysis I was doing for a Silicon Valley firm a couple of years ago took into account CRM reports for Japanese, Italian, British, French and other firms.
I know they primarily analyze public firms, but there were a few instances where they based analyses on other information, stating they didn't have full financials, couldn't provide a Z-score, and so forth. There were a few private companies included in their database, some of which had formerly been public, and others considering IPO's. Most of the accounts we looked for in CRM were publicly held, and it's definitely their strength.
Thank you everyone for your comments.

We have been using CRMZ for about a year now. We believe it a good tool to supplement our investigations. Their automated alerts are very convenient and we capture updated financials via these alerts. Their price is very reasonable however they are limited to mostly public companies. Also,as with most data suppliers they are only as good as the members who contribute their a/r data.
