Michael G. Mitchell, III, CAE

President & CEO of the Credit Management Association, a non-profit trade association that supports business credit professionals who work for CMA’s 1,800 member companies throughout California and Nevada. Michael has worked for CMA since 2000, originally hired as the Technology Manager to bring the 100 year-old association into the Internet age by putting all of the association’s services online. Michael received a BA from Duke University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Michael L. Joncich

Manager of CMA’s Adjustment Bureau, Mr. Joncich’s experience includes seven years working as the chief administrator for a bankruptcy trustee and United States District Court receiver. He was part owner for ten years in a small manufacturing business. A bachelor’s degree in journalism and several years writing for newspapers and magazines make him an effective communicator. He joined CMA as an adjuster to marshal assets and business records for companies liquidated by the Adjustment Bureau through general assignments. A year later he moved to the position of Estates Manager. He has served as secretary to creditors’ committees for out-of-court workouts and bankruptcy proceedings; he supervises administration of general assignments and bankruptcy cases for which CMA functions as a disbursing agent or liquidating trustee.
