From their website: Maggiora Baking Company is hardly a newcomer to the art of bread making.

As one of the original owners of Toscana, Colombo, the Maggioras have been in the bread business for over eighty years. Mario and Dennis Maggiora, father and son, started in 1985, making 6 products for 3 customers and delivering out of their station wagon. Maggiora Bakery now delivers to its customers via a fleet of trucks and logistics network.

Denis currently facilitates the bakery, along with a team of professionals whose experiences range from the American Institute of Baking to bread making in Europe. Today Maggiora Baking Company has grown from a father and son business to one that can offer its employees family health benefits and a bonus/profit sharing program.
