CLP Names John Samberg Vice President of Contracts and Compliance

Reno, NV (October 9, 2007) – CLP Resources, Inc., the leading provider of reliable, skilled tradespeople to building contractors nationwide, announced the appointment of John Samberg as its vice president of contracts and compliance today. 

In his new role, Samberg will be responsible for customer contract negotiations, regulatory compliance and litigation in support of the credit and collections department.

Prior to joining the contracts team, Samberg served as outside litigation counsel for CLP for nearly a decade in California, and by special appointment in various other states throughout the Western United States.  Before leaving his private practice to join CLP, Samberg represented a variety of business and financial clients in complex litigation, and as lead trial counsel in state, federal and bankruptcy courts across the United States.

Samberg is a member of the California Bar Association and is also admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of England and Wales.  Samberg attended UCLA as an undergraduate student and is a magna cum laude graduate of Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles.
