U.S. banking industry faces uncertainty in 2007 — S&P

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Standard & Poor’s maintained "a modest positive bias" in its 2007 rating outlook for the U.S. banking industry, amid expectations that profitability will remain "healthy" next year, the credit-rating agency said in a report.
